I'd be interested to hear from anyone who used the patch to successfully complete the game. For me the camera glitch first appeared in the Fireforge map, in the levers puzzle with Professor Twiddle, but the real game breaker is in the mosaic puzzle a bit later in the game.

The trick seems to be to install the patch before you arrive at the trouble spot, ideally before you even launch I'd imagine.
